It’s another day on the set of a live TV show for Lee Gates (George Clooney), a bloviating financial adviser, when a raging victim of corporate malpractice (Jack O’Connell) storms the studio armed with guns and bombs. Gates’ producer, Patty Fenn (Julia Roberts) coaches Gates through his earpiece as she uses modern technology for a police-worthy investigation. Throughout the standoff, Gates and Fenn question corporate practices, where everyone has something to hide. This nerve-wracking thriller is directed by Jodie Foster and will have you sweating until the end. Available Sept. 6.

In this period piece based on an unfinished Jane Austen novella, the beautiful and recently widowed Lady Susan Vernon (Kate Beckinsale) decides to visit her in-laws—unannounced—as she hides out from the rumors circulating regarding her romantic dalliances. While she’s waiting, she does some matchmaking, which leads to clever and hilarious moments. Love & Friendship is scheduled to release Sept. 6.
