A Quiet Passion—PG-13
This biographical film portrays the life of Emily Dickinson, one of the most significant American poets. Dickinson, played by Cynthia Nixon, was known as an eccentric and recluse to her few acquaintances. “A Quiet Passion” shows the irony of Dickinson’s life: an existence of strife and anguish while leaving a legacy of poetic elegance. This film will be available July 11.
Family man Neil (Sean Bean) is a drone pilot contracted by the U.S. government to aid in bombings in the Middle East, a job he does all from the comfort of his home in suburbia. When a mysterious man from Pakistan arrives with a grudge, Neil must confront his past and the results of his choices, placing Neil’s family in danger. This action/thriller is scheduled to be released July 4.
The Lost City of Z—PG-13
In the early 1900s, British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) finds evidence of a once-complex Amazonian city. After being taunted by the scientific community, Fawcett sets out with his son (Tom Holland) and assistant (Robert Pattinson) to face the South American jungles. Based on the true story and bestselling book, “The Lost City of Z” will be available on DVD July 11.
