Damon and Cee, a father and teenage daughter duo, have a contract to go prospecting on an alien moon to mine for gems, which are buried deep within a poisonous forest. On their dangerous mission, Cee must confront the dangers of the forest, others living on the planet, violent rivals, as well as her father’s own greed—all of which jeopardize her life. This film is enhanced by focusing on characters and their environment while relying less on computer-generated imagery. “Prospect” stars Jay Duplass, Sophie Thatcher and Pedro Pascal. This sci-fi film will be released on DVD March 5.  

Green Book—PG-13
When Jamaican-born pianist Don Shirley is booked for a tour through the deep south during the height of the Jim Crow era, Tony Lip is hired to be his bodyguard and driver. Don’s snobbish personality clashes with Tony’s uncouth behavior, which makes for a tumultuous start to their journey. As they travel further into the south, Tony is disgusted by the racist and discriminatory treatment Don receives. The two develop a deep relationship, which lasts a lifetime. “Green Book” is based on a real-life story and stars Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen. It is scheduled to be released on DVD March 5.

Instant Family—PG-13
This comedy-drama follows Pete and Ellie Wagner as they decide to start a family through foster care adoption. Suddenly, they find themselves in over their heads as parents to three unenthused children and must quickly learn how to be a dad and a mom. “Instant Family” touches on some of the complexities of fostering and adoption and is filled with meaningful moments, heart and laughter. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne, and Octavia Spencer and will be released on DVD March 5.
